A helicopter of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) made an emergency landing in southern Afghanistan's Helamnd province Monday, Xinhua reported.
A press release issued by the ISAF said, "During a landing this morning at a base in Helmand province, an ISAF helicopter and its crew experienced a hard landing."
The helicopter needs repair and no crew member was injured, said the press release.
The investigation was underway, said the release, adding that no proof of enemy involvement has been found so far.
Helmand, a hotbed of Taliban fighters and notorious for poppy growing, has been the scene of increasing insurgency.
