European Games in Baku to be great event – Romanian government representative

The First European Games to be held in Baku will be a great event, Eniko Lacziko, state secretary at the Department for Interethnic Relations within the General Secretariat of the Romanian Government told Trend.
She said that sport always contributes to the dialogue between nations.
"I was really impressed by Baku and Azerbaijan," said Lacziko. "So, I think the European Games will contribute as well to Azerbaijan's image in the world which is very good."
She added that Azerbaijan already has very good image, very good organizers and a lot of things to show.
Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.
There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
