Gold medal of European Games is the result of serious and hard training, Azerbaijani gymnast Oleg Stepko who won gold medal in artistic gymnastics parallel bars exercise said June 20.
"Today it was hard and a serious day for me," he said. "I had hard trainings, it was a big load, serious exercises, and all this led to this result. It so happened that I have grabbed today full medal set: gold, silver and bronze", Stepko said.
He said that he also could have also gotten a gold medal in pommel horse exercise.
"But judgment was tough, but fair. But gold medal is not a concurrency. Victories at two rounds of World Championship and European Games are not random", Stepko added.
