The EU is a strong partner of Azerbaijan in all economic projects, Head of the cooperation department of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan Viktor Bozhkov stated during an event on "Green ports, new port management tools," Trend reports.
The EU will continue to support the economy of Azerbaijan both with grant financing and with the help of other instruments, he noted.
"We have many projects in Azerbaijan and our goal is making sustainable business in the country. The Baku Port is one of the priority organizations where we focus on project implementation and support. Joint projects with the port in the sphere of digitalization and transition to green technologies will expand," Bozhkov said.
"The Baku Port is included in the EU investment program," he added.
