BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. Azerbaijan and Israel constantly develop new projects for enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation, President of Israel Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IACCI) Alex Kaplun told Trend on the sidelines of the Azerbaijan-Israel Early Education and Parenting Forum held in Baku.

“Agriculture, IT, education, and cybersecurity stand out as the primary sectors with immense potential for expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel. Numerous projects in the private sector are not just in development, but are already operational,” he said.

IACCI president specified that the majority of these private sector initiatives are dedicated to advancing agriculture, complemented by projects in education, such as the Early Education and Parenting Forum. Additionally, technology platforms are actively being implemented in Azerbaijani private schools.

“The portfolio of collaborative projects is expanding continuously, reflecting a growing commitment to Azerbaijan-Israel partnership. Presently, discussions include a wide spectrum of areas involving government agencies and foundations. These discussions on cooperation are quite diverse, ranging from agriculture to IT, which indicates the broadening scope of collaboration between the two nations,” Kaplun concluded.

Over the past years, Azerbaijan and Israel have established strong and friendly interstate relations that have evolved into a strategic partnership. The ties between the two countries also encompass the energy sector, demonstrating a robust and multifaceted partnership.
