The UNO World Food Program (WFP) will allocate $21 million to Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Cabinet of Ministers told Trend.

The WFP three-year aid program has been developed and approved. The government of Azerbaijan undertook the commitment to pay $ 3 million from this amount. The funds will be financed by the state budget.

Thus, the problem existing some time ago in the issue of rendering aid to refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Azerbaijan from UNO WFP is removed.

UNO WFP renders annually food aid to 140,000 refugees and IDPs.
