U.S. Imposes Sanction on Iranian Export Development Bank
The U.S. Finance Ministry has imposed a sanction on the Iranian Export Development Bank for sponsor of investigation in the sphere of development and production of ballistic rockets, the Iranian ILNA news agency reported.
Under the new sanctions, all the accounts of the bank in the U.S. were frozen. The citizens of the U.S. are prohibited to hold financial operations via the bank.
It is not the first time when the United States imposes the economic sanction on Iranian banks and attempting to prevent its nuclear program.
In September, sanctions were imposed on shipping company.
