Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 Dec/ Trend corr N. Abdullayeva/ The Czech Republic plans to open Embassy in Azerbaijan in the second half of 2009.
The Azerbaijani and Czech Foreign Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and CarelSchwarzenberg discussed opening of embassy during Azerbaijani minister's official visit to the Czech republic, press service of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said to Trend .
Azerbaijan opened its Embassy in the Czech Republic in 2007. Tahir Tagizade is the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic.
Azerbaijan has 35 embassies and 49 representative offices across the world.
Azerbaijan may open embassy in Argentine, Thailand and Croatia in 2009, deputy foreign minister Vagif Sadigov said earlier.
