Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva visited park near the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences after repair-reconstruction operations on September 9, AzerTaj state news agency said.
Azerbaijani President was informed in details about operations held in the park.
Reconstruction operations were carried out on the basis of a unique project in the two hectare-park. National architecture and the international practice are combined with high professionalism.
Overhauled park has original image. Walking paths of the park are fully reconstructed. They were lined with slabs of granite and white marble. This area exceeds 950 square meters. Trees were planted in the territory of 870 square meters. Over 10,000 decorative flowers imported from Holland create various compositions.
Twenty-four-diameter fountain was placed in the center of the park. It gives the park special uniqueness. Water pump of a fountain operating automatically was made in Germany and Italy. The newly established irrigation system of the park also works in automatic mode. It pumps from a fifty-five meter-well to water trees and provide the fountain with water.
Modern lighting system and new benches were installed in the park.
Azerbaijani President gave additional instructions and recommendations after visiting the park.
