The Uzbek Olympic national football team will play a friendly match against the Qatari Olympic national team today, the Uzbekistan Football Federation reported.
From February 27 to March 1, the newly formed Uzbek Olympic national football team held its first training session under Head Coach
The Olympic team comprises goalkeepers Sanjar Kuvvatov (Mashal), Muhiddin Khudayarov ( Bunyodkor), Doniyor Usmanov (Neftchi), defenders Murod Khalmukhamedov (Pakhtakor), Sherzod Agzamov (Bukhara), Sarvar Atabaev (Metallurg), Zohid Raupov (Bunyodkor), Dilerbek Irmatov (Neftchi), Kamoliddin Tadzhibaev (Bunyodkor), Abdukahhor Hozhiakbarov (Bunyodkor), Gulom Urunov (Pakhtakor), Sanjar Shaakhmetov (Almalyk), Ikbol Babakhanov (Neftchi), midfielders Dzhavlon Ibragimov (Lokomotiv Moscow), Fazil Musaev (Mashal), Zokhir Pirimov (Almalyk), Sunnat Mammadaliev (Navbakhor), Sherzod Karimov (Pakhtakor), Jasur Hasanov ( Almalyk), Doston Abdurakhmanov ( Almalyk), Doniyor Khasanov ( Bunyodkor), Kenji Turaev ( Bukhara), forwards Davron Mirzaev (Rubin) , Alisher Azizov (Pakhtakor), Sanat Shikhov (Pakhtakor).
Ubaydullaev previously headed the Uzbek youth football team, which won the silver medal in the 2008 Asian Championship in Saudi Arabia and was also a member of the 2009 World Cup in Egypt.
The teams' objective is to prepare for the Twentieth Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in two years in London.
