Turkish president: Azerbaijan turned into very attractive country in development and welfare growth

Trend: Turkey attaches great importance to the friendship and brotherhood development with Azerbaijan at the highest level, Turkish President Abdullah Gul said at the state award ceremony of Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev in Ankara on Tuesday, Turkish TRT Haber TV channel reported.
"Azerbaijan's turning into a leader, which has achieved stability amid the current processes in the world is a guarantee for the future of these relations," Gul said.
Gul said that Azerbaijan achieves great success in any sphere under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
Gul added that during the visits to Azerbaijan he witnessed the fraternal country's changes and development for the last ten years.
"Azerbaijan has turned into a very attractive country on the level of development and welfare growth," Gul said.
President Gul said that while chairing the UN Security Council, Azerbaijan is proving its political influence.
"Today, long-standing ties of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkey are continuing, by being enriched with important projects," Gul said.
According to Gul, while continuing such energy projects as Baku- Tbilisi- Ceyhan, Baku- Tbilisi- Erzurum, TANAP, Azerbaijan and Turkey intend to reach new achievements.
"President Aliyev is playing a significant role in the development of relations between the two countries," Gul added.
