An official welcoming ceremony was held for Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev Nov. 28 in the Independence Palace in Minsk, Belarus.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Azerbaijani president in the square decorated with flags of Azerbaijan and Belarus.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko met Azerbaijani president.
The two countries' national anthems were performed. Chief of the guard of honor reported to President Aliyev.
Then, the representatives of state and government of Belarus were introduced to President Aliyev, and the Azerbaijani delegation was introduced to President Lukashenko.
The guard of honor then passed in front of the presidents being accompanied by a military march.
Afterwards, the presidents posed for official photos.
