First republican meeting of sociologists took place. The event was organized at the initiative of Sociology and Social psychology of the Philosophy institute and political-legal department of the National Academy of Sciences, Trend reports.
Current condition of sociology in the country, perspectives of its development and organizational matters were discussed at the meeting.
Cultural attachГ© of the Turkish embassy in Baku, Fethi Gedikli took part at the meeting. Creation of the Azerbaijani sociologists society has been announced at the meeting. Code of the newly founded organization and several structures has been created.
