The activities of Turk-speaking countries abroad should be organized on a higher level, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev told on September 18 in Turkish city of Kemer while giving a speech at the 10th Congress of Turk-speaking countries, Trend reports.
According to Aliyev, for this purpose it needs to attach a special attention to the activities of Turk diaspora organizations. Our diaspora organizations abroad very closely co-operate, and I think that it will increase our opportunities in the future, Aliyev spelled out.
Speaking about the importance of conducting the first forum of Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora organizations, the state head made an initiative to hold it in the first half of next year in Baku. Aliyev noted the significance of analyzing the joint activities of Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora organizations and their goals.
We should unify the Turk world in more largely organized form. And we shouldn't be indifferent to the processes happening in Turk-speaking countries. Permanently providing support for each other and jointly participating in the solution of problems will open great opportunities and a very strong policy.
