Both Sides Giving and Accepting Bribes Should be Instituted to Responsibility for Corruption in Education  Member of Anti-Corruption Commission

At present, nearly 80 corruption cases have been considered, the member of the Commission for fight against Corruption, Deputy of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Bakhtiyar Aliyev stated, Trend reports.

He stressed that these cases cover various areas and envisage criminal punishment. In addition, he emphasized that administrative steps are taken. This is linked with not only bribery, but also misuse of authority and exceeding their authority by offering services outside of their jurisdiction.

Aliyev stated that a number of cases regarding corruption in the education system has already been dealt with, and the court has passed resolutions on this issue. The representative of the Commission regarded corruption in the education system as a serious problem. He considered that both parties who are offering and accepting the bribe should be made responsible for their part in the corruption of the education system.

He is certain that this is the only possible way to strengthen the Society is in combating corruption.
