Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. Z.Safarov / The half-back from the Azerbaijani football team Nefchi, Zaur Tagizadeh, ignored by the ex-coach of the Azerbaijani national team, Shahin Diniyev, has been called up to take part in the 2008 European Championships. The team will face Finland and Belgium.
Joko Hajiyevski, a Macedonian specialist now heads the national team, said during a press-conference that Rashad Sadikhov, as well as Mahmud Gurbanov will also take part in the championships.
The names Zaur Ramazanov, the forward and the Nigerian full-back, Usim Nduki, were also included on the list.
"I have been following the players for a long time but I cannot understand why these players remained off the national team. I believe the team will collect more that ten points thanks to these footballers. Now they are included in the national team," the Macedonian said.
