Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 June / corr. Trend R. Ergun/ The Azerbaijani Football Club launched talks on transfer of Asen Nikolov, a Bulgarian player, a source close to Gabala club told Trend on 5 June.
Nikolov previously played for the Azerbaijani football clubs of Turan and Baku. He played for Baku during the last season of the Azerbaijani premier league.
Recently, Gabala has signed a contract with Kenan Kerimov and Irakli Beraya, two players of Garabagh. Nikolov will be the third new player joining Gabala during the summer transfer.
Ramiz Mehdiyev is the coach of Gabala, which ranked as the 6th at the Azerbaijani premier league.
