Azerbaijani Inter football squad President Georgi Nikolov said their rival in the Unity Cup is weak.
Inter will take on the Tajik Regar-TadAz club.
"Regar-TadAz is not known worldwide and I think we can beat them," he said told Trend in a telephone conversation from Moscow. Nikolov is originally from Bulgaria.
Inter and Regar-TadAz will play today in the Unity Cup quarterfinals. The match will be held at the Olimpiyski Stadium in Moscow at 14:00 Baku time.
Nikolov said Inter has a chance to reach the finals.
"Sport is an unpredictable thing. Anything can happen. But we will do our job. Our main goal is to win and get to the finals," Nikolov said.
Inter was the top team in Azerbaijan's Premier League last year. The team had 7 goals during the first round of the Unity Cup.
Inter beat Finland and Latvia in the D group and tied with Kyrgyzstan.
