The Azerbaijani State Commission on Student Admission (ASCSA) announced a student admission to the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) for 2009-2010.
Those willing to receive education in the University must pass a registration in the Documents Admission Commission of the ASCSA, after fulfilling of the E-application on entrance exams to Azerbaijani higher schools. Those who have 4 or 5 examination marks can attend the exams. Students and graduators cannot participate in the exams.
In the first stage applicants will be tested by ASCSA. On the test examination questions will be presented to applicants in Russian. As a foreign language students may choose only English.
According to the results of test examinations, which will be held on May 15, applicants who obtain 500 or more points will be allowed to interview on 16 May. At the interview will be tested by the level of knowledge of Russian language students in the Azerbaijani sector, the Azerbaijani language in Russian-sector applicants (through essays written in the local language) as well as general knowledge.
The second stage of examination will be held in Moscow on June 27-July 4. Applicants will respond to test questions on the Russian and English languages. Those wishing to join the Faculty of International Economic Relations "must also pass an exam in mathematics.
Three candidates, who will collect the highest points for the contest, will receive education in MGIMO free of charge.
