The Kyrgyz government will hold the Forum on children's protection in Bishkek on May 12-14 under support of UNICEF.
The Azerbaijani delegation will attend the meeting will focus on successes gained as a result of the reforms held in the field of children's protection, UNICEF office in the country said on May 12.
The delegation will comprise officials of the State Committee on problems of families, women and children, Cabinet of Ministers, Ministries of Education, Health, Labor and Social Protection, media and the UNICEF Office in Azerbaijan.
A total of 14,500 children live at the governmental institutions in Azerbaijan. The president approved the State program on deinstitualization and alternative care for children in 2006.
