Construction, reconstruction and repair work have been carried out at 43 cantonments in Azerbaijan in recent years, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Monday.
Five dormitories for soldiers, two dining halls, two headquarters, two medical units, six residential buildings, two boiler rooms, a bathhouse and a laundry are under construction in order to improve the living conditions of military personnel.
In addition, major repairs are underway in the club dining room, an operating unit, an eight-story medical building, a dormitory, and training crops.

Construction and reconstruction were carried out in cantonments as Ganja-72, Dallar-1,Shamkir-3, Seyfali-1, Gedabey (Saratovka) Gedabey (Bashkend) Zig-72, Bard 1, Sarijhali-1, Beylagan (Milabad), Baku-52, Baku-55, Girmizi Sharg-1, Girmizi Sharg-49, Agstafa-3, Pirakushkul-2, Zig-7, Shamakhi (Gizmeydan) Shamakhi (Gurbanchi) Shamakhi (Sundu) and Komurgoy.
