Education Minister Avazjon Marahimov was dismissed according to the Uzbek President's decree, a governmental source told Trend.
Avazjon Marahimov was appointed Education Minister in early March 2010. Before this appointment, he served as Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education.
At present, the post of Education Minister is vacant.
