The Tariff Council of Azerbaijan has reduced prices on more than 800 kinds of medicines.
This decision was made at the regular meeting of the Tariff (Price) Council August 25.
At the first stage, the prices for 256 most popular and essential kinds of drugs according to 25 active substances were approved on July 30, and taking into account today's decision, a list of 1,057 kinds of drugs, the prices for which are regulated by the state, has been created.
In accordance with the decision, in order to avoid violation of the competitive environment, the prices for these drugs come into force since September 15, 2015.
The process of price control on essential drugs will be completed before the end of 2015.
