Bakcell, The First Mobile Operator and Leading Mobile Internet provider of Azerbaijan continues to organize trainings, aimed at providing support to professional development of participants of the “AppLab” program.
Another training held for the young developers was dedicated to “Blockchain technology”, being one of the most discussed topics nowadays. During the training session, founders of various IT projects hosted at “AppLab” Center have shared their thoughts on how can the “Blockchain” technology be implemented in local services, what kind of projects could be created and which problems it can allow us to solve.
“I think this is the next generation of internet, bringing vast opportunities for every business, the society and individuals. The “Blockchain” technology will also help us ensure our privacy” says the founder of “Blutu” project Ahmed Khalafbayli.
“Blockchain technology is a foundational technology—with potential to create new foundations for global economic and social systems” says Orkhan Babayev, Application Development Manager of Bakcell.
Blockchain technology is a breakthrough with possibilities, which can influence not only the finance or IT field, but many other areas as well. Basically, “Blockchain” is a continuous sequential chain of blocks (linked list), containing various types of information.
“AppLab” is an accelerated execution and incubation module, designed to help the selected developers in bringing up their ideas, mobile apps and technologies to life from pilot version to a finished product on a regional level. Within the frames of this project, young local developers granted access to the “AppLab” Center and provided with free Internet access, desk and training space, along with an opportunity to use the latest devices for developing and testing their software and hardware. Dedicated team of experts from Bakcell and other partners of “AppLab” provide young developers with the required consultancy to help them turn their ideas into new products or services able to compete on local and international markets.
