BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. More than 30 ambulances, along with reserve teams totaling 132 medical personnel, will be mobilized to provide medical assistance in case of need during the 2024 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Trend reports.
According to the information, TABİB Executive Director Vugar Gurbanov met with medical staff of subordinate medical institutions, which are mobilized to provide medical assistance in case of need during the days of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Emergency and urgent medical aid posts have been set up along the racing line for participants, persons providing services within the framework of “Formula 1”, as well as for spectators in cases when urgent and emergency medical aid is required, as well as for the population living in the zone with restricted access due to the competition. There will be 12 ambulance crews in the direction of the traffic lane where the sports competitions of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix “Formula 1” will be held; 6 ambulance crews will be located on Seaside Boulevard for spectators watching the competitions during the sports competitions; two ambulance crews will be located in the Athletes' Village; and two ambulance brigades will be located on the territory of the residents living in the zone of the competitions.
During the event, all medical workers involved will work in shifts from 08:00 to 00:00.
A total of 4 ambulance brigades will be involved in the event, which will be held on September 12-15 at Baku Crystal Hall.
To note, TABİB has been successfully cooperating with Baku City Operation for five years within the framework of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan.
