Ambassador of Iraq: Moslems of Azerbaijan to be given opportunity to go on pilgrimage to Kerbala in coming 2-3 years

Moslems of Azerbaijan and the whole world will be given the opportunity to go on a pilgrimage to the holy place for all Moslems, Kerbala, the Ambassador of Iraq to Azerbaijan Arshad Omar Ismayil told Trend.

According to him, the government makes efforts to establishing stability and security in Iraq for free arrival of foreign citizens in the country.

It should be reminded, the tomb of imam Huseyn, the grandson of the prophet Mohammed, honored by the Shiite Moslems, is located in Kerbala. The pilgrims, who attended the imam’s grave, receive the honorary title Kerbalai.
