The National TV Broadcasting Council (NTBC) issued licenses to regional TV channels Khayal, Guba, and Alternativ, Ganja, Trend reports quoting Nushiravan Maharramli, the chair of NTBC.
He noted that licenses of TV channels Lankaran, Khachmaz and Aygun were not prolonged due to some problems and disputable moments in their documents. According to Maharramli, this issue will be reconsidered soon. We will set to defects in the documents of Europa plus functioning in Baku after completion of study of these issues. NTBC will also consider licenses of Lider and ANS in May. We will discuss opening of new TV channels after issue of licenses to the TV channels, he stressed.
Maharamli added the agenda did not include announcement of a tender for new waves of TV and radio channels.
