It is still too early to establish private jails in Azerbaijan. Musa Gumbatov, head of Chief Board for Court Orders execution, told Trend that the conversations public officials make today on this matter are untimely.

Gumbatov said it is impossible to keep a convict in a private jail in Azerbaijan. В"First of all, our convict may not upkeep themselves. On the other hand, creation of private jails will result in stratification of convict to higher and lower. Convicts rights are equal in Azerbaijan and it would be incorrect to admit such a situationВ", - he added.

Alongside, Gumbatov suggested the possible future creation of such jails. В"But it will take many years to create favorable conditions for such jails in AzerbaijanВ", - he added.
