The singer is listed as the director of upcoming film "Blade To The Heat" on industry website Hollywood.com, where her company Maverick Entertainment is named as the movie's production company.
The film is described as a "boxing story loosely based on the 1959 bout between Emile Griffith and Benny 'Kid' Paret." Madonna has acted in various films including Desperately Seeking Susan, Dick Tracy, Evita and, most recently, Swept Away.
