The Head of the UNISEF Baku Office, Jana Singer said at the meeting dedicated to the results of joint Action Plan at the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education, that her organization is ready to support and render assistance to the educational reforms in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The Azerbaijan Education Minister Misir Mardanov said that within the Action Plan signed between Azerbaijan and UNISEF, large work has been carried out in the education system of Azerbaijan. The Minister said that the joint projects covered 200 pre-school and general education institutions, conducted courses for raising qualification and special training for 18,000 children and 4,500 parents, 1,500 teachers and 860 specialists.
