Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr E. Huseynly / Nazim Ibrahimov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Residing Abroad has reported that the second forum of the Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas organizations will be held in Turkey.
The preparatory work for the forum is underway in Turkey. The forum of the Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas organizations is expected to be held annually. Ibrahimov noted that the first forum revealed that the activity on the diasporas in Azerbaijan is well organized. "The formation of a new permanent secretariat on the Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas organizations is under current consideration. The Co-ordinating Council carries out various activities in this direction," Ibrahimov said.
The first forum of the Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas organization in Baku was participated by 173 Azerbaijani, 140 Turkish, 23 Iraqi and 5 Cyprian Turks.
