BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. The State Service on Property Issues under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy held a regular auction for the privatization of state-owned property on June 7, Trend reports citing the ministry.
According to the ministry, 13 vehicles were privatized following the results of the auction.
Selling the vehicles once again aroused keen interest. The offer for one of the cars exceeded the starting price by almost twice. The Volkswagen Amarok car with a start price of 12,000 manat ($7,063) was purchased for 21,000 manat ($12,360).
The BMW car was purchased for 9,000 manat ($5,297) with a starting price of 5,000 manat ($2,942).
The next auctions will be held on June 14, 21 and 28.
