BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. Azerbaijan increased the manufacturing volume of paint and varnish products from January through June 2022, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to 13,900 tons, up by 12.5 percent on annual basis.
The committee also said that in the first half of 2022, propylene production in Azerbaijan equaled 55,000 tons (with 52,300 tons accounting for the production of commercial propylene).
Meanwhile, 271,200 tons of methanol were produced in the country (a growth of 2.8 times compared to 1H2021).
At the same time, 57,700 tons of polyethylene were produced in Azerbaijan.
