BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 29. Eni's production of oil and gas in Europe in the fiscal year 2023 amounted to 177 kboe/d, Trend reports.
According to the company's latest results, this marked a 6-percent decrease year-on-year (189 kboe/d).
Specifically, the region cranked out 105 kboe/d in liquids, while churning out a total of 374 kboe/d in gas.
In 4Q2023, Eni's hydrocarbon output totaled 182 kboe/d - unchanged, compared to 2022.
In Italy, the company's production level stood at 69 kboe/d in the fiscal year 2023 - down by 16 percent year-on-year (82 kboe/d in FY 2022). At the same time, this figure stood at 66 kboe/d in 4Q2023, which is a decrease of 17.5 percent, compared to the same period last year (80 kboe/d in 4Q2022).
Meanwhile, for the fiscal year 2023, Eni saw a slight increase of 3 percent in its total hydrocarbon production to 1.66 million boe/d, compared to the fiscal year 2022 (1.61 boe/d).
