Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. U.Ismaylova / Strengthening of sanctions upon employers who violate construction rules will increase discipline between employers and employees, Nabi Shukurlu, the head of the Labour Institute at the Labour and Social Protection Ministry of Azerbaijan, said.
"Increase of fine is not the main, the main issue is to make employers to feel responsibility and sign labour deal with employees," Shukurlu said.
Companies which have no labour deal with employees will be fined 1 manats (AZN) for each worker, Ziyad Samadzadeh, the chairman of the Parliamentary commission on Economic Policy, said on 7 November.
Within the framework of checks the Labour Institute implements a range of violations were revealed. Some companies pay AZN 250 or 300, however, only AZN 50 is stated in the labour deal..
According to Shukurlu, there are 800 constructed buildings in Azerbaijan to 1 November. The number of workers in each company amount to 100.
