Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 February / Trend / In January, Azerbaijan increased goods export by 59% and comprised $626,18mln in 2008 compared to January 2008, the State Custom Committee reported. The goods import increased by 27% and made up AZN 494.3mln.
Azerbaijan implemented goods operations with 96 foreign countries in January. About 473 types of goods were exported and 2,636 goods types were imported.
