Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 March /corr. Trend A. Badalova/ Twining project partners have been selected from the EU (European Union) members for the Ministry of Industry and Energy, Ministry of Economic Development, State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patent of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Economic Development said.
The selection was carried out amongst the eight proposals in energy, food security and standardization introduced by nine EU member states. Some €3.5mln has been allocated for the implementation of the three projects within the European Neighboring Policy program.
The Holland-Latvian consortium has been elected as a twining project partner of the State Consumer Market Control Service regarding the project to provide quality and security of the products and to improve the juridical and technical aspects on the certification of fish products. The European commission has allocated 1€mln to carry out the project.
The proposal by Germany was adopted regarding the project of juridical conformance and structural reforms in energy sector of the Ministry of Industry and Energy worth of €1.1mln.
The proposal of Germany-Austria consortium on the project to establish the legislation for the high-quality infrastructure and the expansion of the Agency's opportunities was selected for the State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patent. The project is estimated at €1.4mln.
