Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 April / corr. Trend / The premiums of Azerbaijani insurance company Baki Sigorta totaled to AZN1.3mln in 2007 with payments making up only AZN42,000, the company reported on 15 April. The premiums of the company on re-insurance operations made up AZN161,000 in 2007.
The assets of the company totaled to AZN925,038 in 2007. The deposit accounts of the company in the banks totaled to AZN744,000. The authorized capital stock made up AZN800,000 by the end of the year.
The founder of Baki Sigorta, founded by the end of 2007, is Bank Respublika. Baki Sigorta was founded after the purchase of control packet (more than 50% of shares) of Tural Sigorta by the bank.
