In January-September 2008 Belarus transported 54.5 billion cubic metres of gas, up 6.1% from the same period last year, BelTA learnt from the National Statistics Committee.
Over the nine months 2008, Belarus pumped over 64.1 million tonnes of oil, which makes up 94.8% as against January-September 2007.
Gas is transported via Beltransgaz networks and Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. Oil is pumped by Gomeltransneft Druzhba and the Novopolotsk Oil Transportation Company Druzhba.
