Malaysia and Iran bankers study how to integrate into Islamic financial system

A joint workshop on exchange of banking experience between Iran and Malaysia will be held in Teheran on Jan. 20.The workshop's participants will consider issues on development of the Islamic financial system in the entire world, and will study ways of integration into the system.

The workshop will be attended by Chairman of the International Islamic Financial Study Centre Agil Nat, Director of the Programming and Governing Group in the Centre Seid Al-Gamid Al-Janid and Director of the Islamic Banking Group, Prof Seid Osman Al-Habashi. The participants of the workshop will exchange of experience in the Islamic banking sphere with Iranian banks.

The workshop from the Iranian side will be attended by Minister of Economy Mostafa Pour- Mohammadi, banks officials and head of the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran.

The workshop will be held by the initiative of the Iran Export Development Bank.
