Bird flu monitoring will continue before late May, Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry State Veterinary Service Chief Ismail Hasanov said.
"We hold monitoring monthly. Monitoring will continue until late May," Hasanov added.
Epizootic stability is monitored in Azerbaijan due to the bird flu. The situation is under control.
The service held the second bird flu monitoring in 2009.
The results of laboratory examinations of blood samples will be made public on Feb. 27.
Previous monitoring revealed no virus.
