25 March "Food, drinks, packaging and equipment - WorldFood Uzbekistan 2009" International Exhibition opens at the national exhibition "Uzexpocentre" in Tashkent.
The organizers of the exhibition were international exhibition company ITE Uzbekistan and the company ITE Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. (Great Britain), as reported to Trend by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade (MFERIT) of Uzbekistan. Official Support to the exhibition is provided by the Association of fat and food industries of Uzbekistan, MFERIT, a holding company "Uzvinprom Holding" and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.
According to MFERIT, this year's exhibition will bring together more than eighty companies and enterprises from 27 countries worldwide, including seventeen companies of Uzbek food industry. Exhibitors will provide almost a full range of equipment and technology needed for production lines of food: from the agricultural and natural products to packaging and storage.
In parallel, there will be held International Exhibition "Agriculture - AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2009" in Tashkent. Both forums will be completed on 27 March this year.
Exhibition WorldFood Uzbekistan is part of a series of specialized food exhibitions organized by ITE Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Ukraine.
