In March, the State Standardization, Metrology and Patent Committee of Azerbaijan held monitoring in twenty businesses in Baku.
"The monitoring was held to protect rights and interests of consumers, prevent violations of metrological rules and regulations, safety requirements of product quality to human life and health. The monitoring revealed several deficiencies," the Committee said.
A prohibition was made to seven companies due to unsanitary conditions. Nine letters were sent to owners of companies to remove deficiencies, including 25 letters prohibiting the manufacturing of products worthing 4,000 manat.
