Azerbaijan, Baku, May 19 / Trend , U.Ismayilova/
Tariffs on tourist facilities will be reduced inconsiderably in Azerbaijan, Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev said on May 19.
"I have visited tourist facilities in Guba and Gusar last weekend. There was no free place there," Garayev said.
The population affords itself to rests in current prices, and therefore tariffs will be decreased inconsiderably. In Azerbaijan hotel prices are regulated by market rules, but not the government.
"However, there has been observed a certain reduction in regions. I hope this tendency will continue," the Minister said.
In 2002, there were about 90 hotels in Azerbaijan, while there number reach 377 now, out of which 59 are in regions.
