IMF managing director to arrive in Kyrgyzstan

Managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn will arrive in Kyrgyzstan on June 17, press service of the Kyrgyz National Bank reported.

Mr. Strauss-Kahn will reportedly meet with the president, prime minister, chairman of the National Bank and chiefs of the Kyrgyzstan's key ministries in the economy sphere. The guest will pay special attention to rendering effective assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic in view of the financial crisis. At present time the fund supports Kyrgyzstan in the line of finance facility for overcoming of external shocks, "24.kg" reported.

The IMF managing director also intends to deliver a speech at the Kyrgyz State University on the World financial crisis and its effect over Central Asia.
