Traffic in direction of Sumgait to be limited tomorrow

On 9 Sept traffic from the sixth kilometer of the Baku-Quba-Russian border will be limited for the construction of a bridge-tunnel from the first Baku ring road to the Sumgait road, which is situated 30 kilometers from Baku, the head of the Azeryolservis press-service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Punhan Mursaliyev, said on September 8.

On 9 Sept traffic from the sixth kilometer of the Baku-Quba-Russian border will be limited for the construction of a bridge-tunnel from the first Baku ring road to the Sumgait road, which is situated 30 kilometers from Baku, the head of the Azeryolservis press-service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Punhan Mursaliyev, said on September 8.

"Traffic in this direction will be limited for construction. The Bilacari slope will be used for traffic moving in this direction," Mursaliyev said.

Traffic will be limited for the construction of right section of the bridge-tunnel from the first Baku ring road to the Sumgait road, other source in the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport said. "The left part of this bridge-tunnel was constructed in the summer," a source said.

Mursaliyev said that the left part of passage was under constructtion for a month and a half. There was a slight delay due to with gas pipes passing through the plot. "The construction of right part should be completed within month if there are no delays," he said.
