Housing prices drop by 3 percent in Tashkent

An average price for a house made up $571 per a square meter in Tashkent in April or less by 3.3 percent compared to March, Avesta Research Analytic Centre reported.

Analysts say that the cost of the proposals has decreased in all three conventional territorial zones of Tashkent. The greatest decrease occurred in apartments in the area with 5 to 10 miles distance from the center - from $629 in March to $614, or 2.4 percent.

An average price decreased by 2.1 percent - from $846 to $828 in areas located within a radius of 5 kilometers from the center and by 0.9 percent - from $438 to $434 in areas with 10 miles distance from the center.

Average price per square meter in one-room apartments was $534, in two-room - $524, in three-and four - $618 and five-room - $593.

Prices for office real estate rose by 22 percent - from $687 to $836 per square meter in April, while the monthly office rental prices dropped by 8 percent - from $9.4 to $8.6 per square.
