Ingushetia is ready to give Azerbaijani investors up to 70 percent guarantees on investment funds, the president of the southern Russian republic,Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, said Friday at a press conference in Baku.
"For example, if one takes the agro-industrial complex, we would be happy to give [Azerbaijani] investors the opportunity to build farm markets and large trade centers on the territory of the republic. We would like both Azerbaijani and Ingush parties to be involved. I hope that we will find such investors in Azerbaijan," Yevkurov said.
He said there are plans to establish contacts with the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow to discuss details and create ties with Azerbaijani businessmen capable tof investing in Ingushetia within next two months.
Ingushetia, along with the Russia's Krasnodar region, is ready for the construction of sugar, tea and garment factories, Yevkurov said.
"We are ready to provide investors with free land by creating build-ready industrial sites, and provide incentives such as even lowering taxes to zero. The main thing for us is to [create] new jobs," Yevkurov said.
