Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 31 / Trend E.Ismayilov /

An explosion on the railway in Dagestan has not affected the movement of trains from Azerbaijan to Russia, Azerbaijan Railways spokesman Nadir Azmammadov said.

It is also not expected to change the schedule of the Kiev-Baku train, which should arrive in the capital at 9:35 p.m., or the Baku-Rostov (departing at 11:40 p.m.) or Baku-Moscow (departing 7:55 p.m.) travel schedules.

In 2010, a decline was observed in passenger traffic on Azerbaijani railways. A reduced number of passenger was observed in the direction of Russia and other routes passing through the country due to the recent explosions on the Dagestani railway road.
