The Azerbaijani State Customs Committee slightly increased transfers the state budget through the collection of customs duties and taxes in January-April, Committee Chairman Aydin Aliyev told journalists today. The figure slightly exceeded the projected figure.
"Based on the budget forecast, the committee planned to transfer 340 million manat to the state budget in January-April. The Committee fulfilled the forecast at 100.12 percent," he said.
The forecast on committee transfers to the state budget for 2011 increased by 1.8 percent (20 million manat) to 1.120 billion manat.
The State Customs Committee fulfilled the forecast at 100.16 percent in 2010 and transferred 1.101 billion manat to the state budget compared to the planned 1.1 billion manat
The official exchange rate is 0.7913 manat to $1 on May 3.
